The Christchurch Astros Baseball Club is on the lookout for a finance-minded individual to join our management team as our new Club Treasurer.

Our incredible, long-serving current Treasurer is stepping back after numerous years of incredible service on the management board. While they are passing on the ledger, they aren’t disappearing overnight! To ensure your success, there will be a thorough handover process alongside ongoing support and mentorship as you transition into the role. You’ll be fully backed by a passionate, organised, and highly collaborative committee every step of the way.

What the Role Involves:

Don't worry, you don't need to be a registered accountant to apply! We are simply looking for someone trustworthy with an eye for detail, basic spreadsheet/accounting skills, and a desire to help our club thrive. The role primarily covers managing club accounts, tracking registration income, assisting with budgeting, and presenting brief updates at our committee meetings.
