The most competitive Astros youth programme
Our 14U programme is where the game truly comes to life. Players compete under full baseball rules, introducing elements such as stealing bases, leading off, and advanced defensive play, while continuing to refine their skills and baseball IQ. This age group is home to some of our club's most promising talent, with opportunities for players to represent their region and travel throughout the North and South Islands. Whether a player is chasing representative honours or simply looking to develop and compete, 14U provides the perfect environment to grow, challenge themselves, and develop a lifelong love of the game.
The opportunities
This age group has several opportunities throughout the year to compete against other youth baseball teams + attend individual draft tournaments and are eligible to make national development teams.
