12U Baseball

Our 12U programme is where young players begin the exciting transition from learning the fundamentals to truly playing the game of baseball. After building their skills through KiwiBall, players start applying what they've learned in real game situations—learning how to make outs, work together defensively, think strategically, and understand the flow of the game.

This is also an important year of growth as players prepare for kid pitch, with the transition from coach pitch taking place toward the end of the season. It's often the first opportunity for players to experience specialist positions like catcher, while continuing to develop their hitting, fielding, throwing, and base running. As confidence grows, so does their understanding of the game, making 12U one of the most rewarding and exciting stages of a young player's baseball journey.
